Colour Schemes

So ive started to think about possible colour schemes for my music magazine. As im doing the genre of POP i want to keep my colour schemes bright and bold to keep with the well known POP convention. Here below are some idea/examples of colour schemes im thinking about possibly using for my magazine.I used various colour scheme generator websites such as ( http://colllor.com/ff6347 ) and ( https://kuler.adobe.com/#create/color-wheel/ )

This is the first colour scheme i created.I used the second of the two websites i listed to create this colour scheme.I wanted to group together some complimentary colours to see what they looked like presented together.I went with pink as i think it can be a very versitile colour and often looks good on POP magaiznes. This colour scheme shows different shades of pink-light to dark.
I love how these colours compliment eachother but when looking again i relaised althought the colours work well togetehr they dont work hand in hand with each other to make them stand out,as this is a big must for magazine. If the colours dont stand out ti could jepodise the magaizne potiential as it won be grabbing the eyes of ths customers.
So afte realsing this i decided not to consider this colour scheme.Im going to use complimentarty colours but mixed in with colours that make the front cover pop too,as i think this will work better overall.

Heres my second colour scheme i created, here i decided to change up the colours abit more and incorperate more different colours within the pink.I think already this makes a huge difference in making the colours stand out more.Im considering this colour scheme as i love how the purple, pinks and reds work together.I think they create a really good colour scheme thats complimentary on the eye yet still out-standing from the page. When creating this colour scheme i took into account that this would only maybe work again for a female artist just because the sterotypical colours youd associate with girls are used.Im really considering this colour scheme because i think the colours are right for the idea i have in mind for my POP magazine.

This is the final colour scheme i created. On this one i decided to completely change up all colours and have various colours together.I did this to experiment what colours worked well together that werent closely related.I found this color scheme really worked.I really love how the colours compliment eachother yet are all still differnet at the same. When i created this i compared it to a TOP OF THE POPS magazine online and found this colour scheme was used widely across there issues.Colours such as these where used as conventional colour schemes in articles with an already past exsisting POP magaine. So this made me very confident in that this is quite possibly the right colour scheme for me.Not only do i like the colours i think they will make the feature story, masthead and text all stand out from eachother creating an un-missible front cover.
