Reader Profile

Reader Profile

Reader profiles consist of information about the magazine. They often feature sasistics and opinions about that specific magazine. In this case NME have asked there target audience if they trust the brand;where abouts theyd prefere to read NME etc.
Readers profiles have a strong purpose they indicate what the readers of that specific magazine like/do/want etc.
Reader profiles can determine what is advertised within that magazine. For example advertising slippers within NME would be pointless as is doesn't appeal to the audience that reads NME where as featuring Doc martins would be more sucsessful,as NME caters to the audience which associated fashion with Doc Martins.
Reader profiles genrally gain an undersdtaing of there audience, they can where they’ve seen NME advertised, this allows NME to see where most people are seeing there advertisements and therefore invest more advertisments in that certain area and withdraw it from other which are not being seen by many people.
Reader profiles also allow NME to see what music,or fashion there readers are into. This allows them to incorporate popular up to date music and trends in there issuesresulting in more sales for the magazine.By getting NME reader opinions on there magazine and featuring it within there issue involved the readers and they feel asif there input counts,as it does.
